Bulls Sweep Binghamton on Friday

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team (5-3) opened the weekend with a 7-0 sweep of Binghamton at Miller Tennis Center on Friday afternoon.
The Bulls swept the doubles point as Faiz Nasyam and Emiliano Jorquera rolled to a 6-1 win at third doubles, Clement Mainguy and Theodoros Mitsaos won 6-3 at the first position and Michael Malkin and Minjae Kim followed with a 6-3 win of their own at second doubles to give UB a 1-0 lead in the match.
In singles action, Jorquera blanked his opponent 6-0, 6-0 at fifth singles, Kim won 6-0, 6-4 at fourth singles and Nasyam clinched the match with a 7-5, 6-1 win at six singles. Onder Balci battled to a 7-6, 7-6 victory at third singles and Mitsakos and Mainguy won a pair of three set matches at first and second singles, respectively.
Buffalo is back in action tomorrow at St. Bonaventure at 1pm.
