Volleyball Announces Game Themes for the 2025 Season

BUFFALO, N.Y. – UB Athletics has released its promotional schedule for the upcoming 2025 volleyball season. The Bulls will have unique themes for 11 of their 15 home matches this year.
Friday, Aug. 29 – Sunday, Aug. 31 – Buffalo Invite Presented by UB Dental
Camper Appreciation Weekend – It's opening weekend in Alumni Arena, and we're celebrating Camper Appreciation! This weekend is dedicated to the girls who attended our volleyball camps over the summer. Don't forget to redeem your free ticket for one of this weekend's games. Plus, join us on Friday night (8/29) for a special UB Dental volleyball sleeve giveaway.
Friday, Sept. 12 vs. Northwestern – Buffalo Classic
Youth Sports Day/Friendship Bracelet Night - Join us for our first ever Friendship Bracelet Game at UB Women's volleyball, a perfect event to bring your teammates, classmates and best friends. We'll have a friendship bracelet making station set up where you can create your own bracelets.
It's also Youth Sports Day, so young athletes are encouraged to come wearing their team jerseys and show off their school pride. There will be chances to meet the players, participate in on-court promotions and experience the excitement of Division I volleyball up close.
Thursday, Sept. 25 vs. Ball State
Return of #MACtion /Mac and Cheese Giveaway – MAC play is back and we're bringing the energy and food! Come out to Alumni Arena as UB Women's Volleyball takes on a conference rival and helps turn up the heat. To celebrate we're teaming up with MyTomatoPie for a free mac & cheese giveaway while supplies last.
Friday, Sept. 26 vs. Miami (OH)
International Student Day – We're celebrating the global spirit of our campus community with International Student Day! This special game night recognizes and honors the incredible diversity of UB. Enjoy live performances by international student groups, showcasing music, dance and traditions from around the world.
Saturday, Oct. 11 vs. Central Michigan
Pink Game/ Block Out Cancer Night – Join us on this meaningful day as we unite in the fight against breast cancer. Fans will have the opportunity to participate in special in-game activities and moments of recognition to celebrate those affected by this disease.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink to show their support and help us fill Alumni Arena with strength, solidarity, and hope.

Spirit Day/Pride Night – Join us for Pride Night at the UB Women's Volleyball game! Celebrate love, inclusivity and diversity as our Bulls take on Western Michigan in a vibrant evening filled with community spirit. Show your pride by wearing your colors and enjoying special activities throughout the night.
Saturday, Oct. 18 vs. Western Michigan
GameChangeHer Night – Join us for this special night where were we recognize and celebrate the power of women in sports and the impact of female leaders on and off the court.
After the match, stick around for a team poster signing and a chance to meet the players, get autographs and take home a signed poster!
Tuesday, Oct. 28 vs. Akron
Kids Day/Spooktacular – Get ready for a frightfully fun time at Alumni Arena with our Kids Day Spooktacular! Kids who come dressed in their Halloween costumes will receive discounted tickets and can enjoy a variety of spooky in-game promotions and activities throughout the match.
Friday, November 14th vs Bowling Green
Fan Appreciation/Bingo Night - We're wrapping up the regular season by celebrating the most important part of UB Volleyball – our fans! Join us for Fan Appreciation Night as we say thank you for your energy and support all season long. Be sure to grab a bingo card on your way in and follow along with the game for a chance to win prizes throughout the night.
Throughout the season, fans can enjoy free parking and chances to win t-shirts and other various prizes!
