Bulls Fall in Friday Doubleheader to Ohio

ATHENS, Ohio – The University at Buffalo softball team (5-19, 2-3 MAC) fell to the Ohio Bobcats (19-7, 2-0 MAC) in Friday afternoon's doubleheader, 8-0 and 10-0.
The Bulls struggled to get the bats going on the day as they finished with just a combined 6 hits on the afternoon. Emily Gorman and Abbey Nagel each had 2 hits. The Bobcats finished the day with 22 hits.
In the first game of the day, Ohio scored all 8 of their runs in the first inning. Marissa Calloway threw three innings in relief for the Bulls.
The Bobcats managed to score in every inning of the second game as the Bulls couldn't slow down their offense.
The Bulls and Bobcats will wrap up the weekend series tomorrow at 1 p.m. on ESPN+.
