Bulls Travel to Northern Illinois for Tuesday Night MACtion

DEKALB, Ill. – The University at Buffalo men's basketball team is set to face the Northern Illinois Huskies on Tuesday evening in the Convocation Center. The game will tip-off at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+. Josh Whetzel can be heard on Buffalo 1520/Rochester 1280 or on the Varsity Network App.
LAST TIME OUT
The Bulls lost to the Georgia State Panthers on Saturday afternoon, 80-75. The sophomore duo of Ryan Sabol and Bryson Wilson recorded 13 points and 5 rebounds apiece. Sabol struggled on the day as he was just 3-for-18 from the floor and 1-for-12 from deep. Tyson Dunn added 11 points, 6 boards and 5 assists. Off the bench, Omar Migues-Hibeljic scored 10 points. Ben Michaels nearly had his first career double-double with 8 points and 10 rebounds.
ABOUT THE SERIES
This will be the 44th all-time meeting between the Bulls and Huskies. Buffalo leads the all-time series, 25-18. In conference play, the Bulls hold a 22-11 lead. Buffalo Head Coach George Halcovage III is 0-2 against Northern Illinois as Head Coach Rashon Burno is 2-4 against the Bulls.
With the Northern Illinois football program joining the Mountain West in 2026 and the uncertainty of what conference the other programs will join, this could be the last time the Bulls visit DeKalb.

• Tyson Dunn is up to 134 assists on the season. He is nearing the all-time assist leaders list in Buffalo history as he needs 19 assists to tie Shannon Evans (2014-15) and Jarod Oldham (2013-14) for most assists in a single season.
