Miscues Costly in Road Loss at Central Michigan

The game started off well for UB as Solomon Brown came up with an interception on Central Michigan's first drive of the game. The Bulls capitalized on the turnover with a 29-yard field goal by Jack Howes to take a 3-0 lead.
Central Michigan scored its first of two defensive touchdowns to take a 7-3 lead late in the first quarter.
The Bulls took the lead with 2:22 left in the first half when Ta'Quan Roberson found Nik McMillan for a 55-yard touchdown to give UB a 10-7 lead. However, the Chippewas scored a touchdown of their own with 48 seconds left in the second quarter to regain the lead and take momentum into the second half.
Buffalo was able to move the ball in the second half but turnovers, including a second defensive touchdown by CMU did in the Bulls.
McMillan had another big game for the Bulls. He had his fourth straight 100-yard receiving game with seven catches for 122 yards and two touchdowns. It was the first two-touchdown game of his career. He also became the first UB receiver since Naaman Roosevelt in 2008 to record four straight 100-yard receiving games.
Linebacker Red Murdock led the Bulls with nine tackles. Fellow linebacker Mitchell Gonser added four tackles, a tackle for loss and an interception.
The Bulls are back home to host Miami (OH) next Wednesday at 7 pm.
