KENT, Ohio – The Buffalo Bulls volleyball team (3-9, 0-3 MAC) fell on the road to the Kent State Golden Flashes (6-8, 1-2 MAC) in straight sets on Friday evening, 16-25, 19-25, 12-25.

Emerson Matthews led the Bulls with 10 kills and three aces. Maddie Mitchell tallied 21 assists as Keira Kleidon had 12 digs.

The Golden Flashes outhit the Bulls, .258 to .031.

At the net, Kent State had 13 blocks as the Bulls only had three.

SET 1
The Bulls led 1-0, but it was short lived as Kent State didn't look back after taking the lead. The Golden Flashes outhit the Bulls, .375 to .189. Matthews led the Bulls with four kills.

SET 2
There were six ties in the second set, but UB failed to capture a lead. Matthews had a set-high five kills.

SET 3
Kent State brought it home in the third set as the Bulls ran out of juice. The Golden Flashes snapped their six match losing streak to the Bulls with the win.

UP NEXT
The Bulls will stay on the road as they'll play the Ohio Bobcats tomorrow at 4 p.m. The match will be streamed on ESPN+.
