"Tonight's win was great in the sense that we got to see a lot of new players make their debut at Buffalo," stated University at Buffalo Women's Volleyball Head Coach Scott Smith. "Katrin [Trebichavska] showed her fifth year leadership and had a phenomenal match with Emma [Converse] backing her up offensively as well. Maria [Futey] led from the back court and provided some stability to our lineup as we tried a lot of new things. I thought we showcased some of what our younger players are capable of. It wasn't always perfect but they fought hard to earn the sweep and that's a valuable lesson this early in the season."

The Bulls are back in action tomorrow afternoon at 3 p.m. against the Army West Point Black Knights (2-0, 0-0 Patriot). Prior to the game, the Oakland Golden Grizzlies (1-1, 0-0 Horizon League) will take on the Hampton Pirates (0-2, 0-0 CAA).
