Bulls Fall at Ball State in Regular Season Finale

MUNCIE, IN – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team fell at Ball State 4-3 on Sunday afternoon in the regular season finale. The Bulls finish the regular season with a 9-8 overall record and 5-5 league mark.
The Bulls started strong, earning the first point of the match as Simon Wibler and Finn Macnamara won 6-2 at first doubles and Cheng Tang and Yu-Shiang Huang defeated the Cardinals 6-4 at third doubles.
Tang took momentum into singles action where he picked up a straight sets, 6-3, 6-2 win at third singles. Ball State took the match with three straight wins, but Aleksandr Kalinin ended the regular season on a high note winning a three-set thriller 6-7(3), 7-6(5), 7-6(3).
Buffalo will now await seeding for next weekend's Mid-American Conference Tournament, hosted by Western Michigan.
