Women’s Tennis Opens MAC Play Against Miami (OH)

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team will begin Mid-American Conference play on Sunday afternoon as the Bulls host Miami (OH) at Miller Tennis Center for a 1pm match.
UB is 14-3 on the season through non-conference action, most recently picking up a pair of wins over Lafayette and George Washington on their spring training trip in Hilton Head. The Bulls have dominated singles action so far this year with a combined record of 93-36. Five UB players have at least 12 singles wins, led by senior Ambre Amat who has 17 and Azra Deniz Comlek who has recorded 14 wins on the year.
Miami enters Sunday's conference opener with a 5-8 record most recently a pair of losses at Charleston Southern and at the College of Charleston. The RedHawks swept the season series with the Bulls a season ago.
