Franz Earns Third MAC Diver of the Week Award This Season

CLEVELAND, Ohio - On Wednesday morning the Mid-American Conference announced that Victoria Franz is this week's Diver of the Week, the graduate student's third time earning the honors this season.
Franz had a strong weekend at the Big Al Invitational, competing against tough opponents from all over the nation. In 3-meter diving on day one she placed first in the preliminary round (311.10), and second in the finals (334.60). Franz carried her momentum into day two, placing first in the preliminary round of 1-meter diving (309.95) and second in the finals (288.90).
In her fifth season with the Bulls, Franz has now earned twelve MAC Diver of the Week awards, continuing to add to her resume with the most Athlete of the Week honors in program history. Since 2019, no diver has received more Diver of the Week awards throughout the MAC. Franz has earned Diver of the Week honors following all three of the Bulls' regular season meets this year.
