
Bulls Conclude Weekend At Northern Illinois

DEKALB, IL – For the second time this season the Bulls dropped a close 4-3 match to Northern Illinois.
The Bulls got out to the early advantage with a pair of wins in doubles. Cheng Tang and Yu-Shiang Huang won 6-4 at first doubles and Simon Wibler and Daniils Snaiders won 6-2 at third doubles.
The Bulls then won two of the six matches in singles actions. The first victory came at first singles and Tang completed a perfect week with a 6-7, 6-4, 6-2 victory. Finn Macnamara also won his singles match at third singles, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4.
In all, five of the six matches went into a third set. The match was all tied at 3-3 with the contest being decided at sixth singles. Greg Hastings overcame a 5-2 deficit in the second set to send the match to a third, but fell short, 6-3.
The Bulls hit the road one more time next Saturday when UB faces Binghamton.
