BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team will conclude their five-match road trip on Saturday at Binghamton. This will be the second meeting between the Bulls and Bearcats with UB taking the first meeting, 6-1.
The Bulls are coming off a tough road weekend at Western Michigan and Northern Illinois, but it was highlighted by UB sweeping MAC player of the week honors. Freshman Cheng Tang was named the MAC Singles Player of the Week, going 2-0 at first singles, while Tang and fellow freshman Yu-Shiang Huang were named the Doubles Team of the Week, also going 2-0, capped off by defeating WMU's nationally-ranked doubles duo.
Binghamton is coached by former UB men's tennis standout Nick Zieziula. For the Bearcats this will be just their fourth true home match of the year.
Following Saturday's match, the Bulls will close out the regular season at home next weekend with matches against Toledo and Ball State.
