2023-24: Went 6-15 in singles action, including a 4-1 record at fifth singles… recorded a 16-10 doubles record, including a stellar 9-3 record with partner Daniils Snaiders where they went 4-1 at third doubles, earning MAC Doubles Team of the Week honors on March 5.
2022-23: Went 12-13 in singles action, including a 4-1 record at fifth singles…also spent time at fourth singles…recorded a career-high 20-10 doubles record, including a dominant 19-9 with partner Simon Wibler where they went 8-6 at first doubles, earning MAC Doubles Team of the Week honors on January 19… named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District.
2021-22: Went 8-16 in singles action as a sophomore, including a 4-7 record at third singles…also spent time at second and fourth singles…was 16-10 in doubles action including a dominant 12-3 with partner Greg Hastings where they went 8-1 at third doubles and 4-2 at second doubles.
2020-21: Was 6-7 in singles action, including a 3-3 record at fourth singles and a 2-2 record at fifth singles…went 6-5 in doubles action, primarily at third doubles where he recorded a 5-3 overall record with partner Tom Owen.
Prior To UB: Attended Brisbane Boys College where he played at the number one position of two years, while serving as team captain as a senior…won the Australian National school title once and twice finished as runner up…captained the state of Queensland to third place at the 2018 Australian Nationals…has reached a junior ranking as high as third in Queensland and 17th in all of Australia, winning 16 singles titles and 25 doubles crowns.
Personal: Born November 8, 2001…son of David and Sasha Macnamara…has one brother, Lachlan…favorite athlete is Roger Federer…chose UB because of the combination of the academics, the coaching staff, and the ability to play tennis at the highest level.
