Track and Field Get Set to Close Out Regular Season

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo track and field team will wrap up their outdoor regular season this weekend at the Penn Relays and Ashland Alumni Open. Just a handful of Bulls will be participating this weekend as the team prepares for the MAC Championships in a few weeks.
The Penn Relays will run from Thursday, April 28 through Saturday, April 30 as the Ashland Alumni Open will begin on Friday, April 29 through Saturday April 30.
Headed to the historic Penn Relays to participate in the 5,000-meter run are Scott Loforte and Ryan Buzby. Running in the men's distance medley relay are Cal Puskar, Tal Hamel, Johann Matzal, and Evan Hilbert. Heading to the Ashland Alumni Open are Caleb Nickens, Asia Hoyte, Imahni Sinclair, and Danil Chernov.
LAST TIME OUT
Last Saturday, the Bulls hosted the UB Team Invitational where both the men's and women's teams took home victories. The men's team scored 274 points good for first out of five programs, as the women scored 272 points placing first of seven teams.
