BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team will end its regular season in Western New York this weekend as the Bulls host Toledo on Friday, followed by Ball State on Sunday.
The Bulls are coming off their second MAC victory of the year last weekend, a 5-2 win over Binghamton. UB is one of the youngest teams in the nation as the Bulls have just two upper classmen on the roster.
Toledo enters Friday with a 13-7 record and a 6-2 mark in league play as both losses came against Western Michigan. The Rockets are coming off a weekend with identical 6-1 wins over Ball State and Northern Illinois.
Ball State sits at 9-9 on the season and 4-4 in MAC play leading into Friday's match at Binghamton. The Cardinals had one of the biggest wins of the year, snapping Western Michigan's 35-match MAC winning streak with a 5-2 win over the Broncos on Apr. 8.
Due to forecasted weather for the weekend these matches will most likely take place at the Miller Tennis Center. However, a final determination will be made the morning of each contest.
