Bulls Continue MAC Road Trip

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team continues its five-match road swing this weekend with matches at Western Michigan on Friday and at Northern Illinois on Sunday. This will be UB's second time facing each opponent this year.

The Bulls are coming off matches at Toledo and Ball State last weekend where they were led by sophomore Finn Macnamara, who won both of his singles contests. Macnamara also won his lone match at doubles with Greg Hastings as the pair won their ninth match and eighth at third doubles.

The Broncos are 9-7 on the year and a perfect 5-0 in league play, leading the MAC. Western Michigan is also a perfect 6-0 at home. They are most recently coming off a 7-0 win over Northern Illinois last Saturday.

Those Huskies will be UB's other opponent this weekend as the team's meet up in DeKalb on Sunday. NIU is 8-7 on the year and 2-3 in league play. NIU squeaked out a 4-3 win in Western New York on Mar. 20, in a marathon contest that came down to sixth singles.
