
Bulls Host Conference Action This Weekend

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team will host its first Mid-American Conference matches this weekend as the Bulls face Ball State on Friday and Northern Illinois on Sunday. Both contests will take place at Miller Tennis Center.
The Bulls are 11-4 on the season and 0-1 in MAC play after dropping a 5-2 match at Miami (OH) last Friday. Buffalo picked up a pair of big singles victories from Ambre Amat and Azra Deniz Comlek in the match against the RedHawks. Overall, the Bulls are 11-1 at home this season.
Ball State rides a six-match winning streak into Friday's match and a 10-2 record with its lone losses coming as a pair of 4-3 decisions against Louisville and Middle Tennessee. Most recently, the Cardinals picked up their first MAC win of the season, a 5-2 win over Western Michigan in Muncie.
Northern Illinois is 12-6 on the season and 0-1 in league play entering its match against Toledo on Friday. The Huskies fell 4-3 to Bowling Green in their league opener, but most recently defeated Roosevelt University, 7-0.
