
Bulls Drop MAC Opener At Miami (OH)

OXFORD, OH – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team lost its first conference match of the season on Friday afternoon, falling to Miami (OH), 5-2.
The RedHawks took the doubles points with wins at one and three. The contest at second doubles was tied when the point was clinched.
In singles action, the RedHawks won four of the six matches. Azra Deniz Comlek came away with a straight sets win for the Bulls at fifth singles, 6-4, 6-4, while UB also won at fourth singles courtesy of Ambre Amat. The junior lost her first set 6-4, but then won the second 6-4 and took the super tiebreaker 10-5.
UB returns to action next week when it hosts a pair of MAC matches, beginning next Friday with Ball State.
