Bulls Continue Conference Play At Home This Weekend

BUFFALO, NY – Fresh off their first Mid-American Conference victory of the season, the University at Buffalo men's tennis team hosts a pair of matches this weekend, welcoming Western Michigan in on Friday and Northern Illinois on Sunday.
The youthful Bulls are 2-7 on the season and 1-0 in league play following a 6-1 win over Binghamton last Saturday. Freshman Cheng Tang has paced the Bulls with 10 singles victories, while as a team UB has posted a winning record in doubles at 32-30, led by Greg Hastings and Finn Macnamara, who are 6-2.
Friday's match with the Broncos will begin at 1:00 pm. WMU is 6-6 on the season 2-0 in league play with wins last week against Ball State and Toledo.
Northern Illinois is 6-5 and 0-2 in league play as the Huskies will travel to Binghamton on Friday before facing the Bulls on Sunday at 12pm. The Huskies dropped contests to Toledo and Ball State last week, most recently a 5-2 decision against the Cardinals.
If matches are able to be played outdoors, those will be played at the UB Tennis Courts on campus. All indoor matches will take place at the Miller Tennis Center located at 5959 Sheridan Dr. Williamsville, NY 14221.
