
Bulls Fall To Ivy League Foe Cornell, 6-1

ITHACA, NY – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team fell to Cornell on Friday afternoon 6-1. The loss drops UB to 10-3 on the year.
The Big Red took the doubles point with wins at one and three. The second doubles team of Ambre Amat and Lolina Schietekat Sedas was tied at 4-4 when play was stopped.
Cornell won five of the six matches in singles play with UB coming away with a win at fourth singles from Ambre Amat, 6-4, 1-6, 10-5. Senior Hsin-Yuan Shih also went into three sets at second singles.
The Bulls will close out non-conference play at home on Monday at 11:30 am when UB hosts Niagara at the Miller Tennis Center.
