BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo men's basketball team returns to Alumni Arena on Friday night as UB will play its second straight nationally televised contest on CBS Sports Network when the Kent State Golden Flashes comes to town.
Both teams are riding winning streaks as Buffalo is on a season-long three-game winning streak, while Kent State has won its previous two, most recently a victory at Eastern Michigan on Tuesday night.
UB had four players in double figures in its most recent contest last Friday at Ball State, including the third straight double-double from sophomore David Skogman. Skogman is the first player to record three straight double-doubles this season for UB and the first to do so since Josh Mballa had double-doubles in all three games of the MAC Tournament last year. The last player to record four straight double-doubles was Justin Moss in 2014-15.
The Bulls and the Golden Flashes have split the season series in each of the last two years. Buffalo won last years meeting at Alumni Arena, 81-67, in its final home game of the year. Kent State won in Buffalo in 2019-20.
