Bulls to Host UB Invitational on Saturday

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo track and field team will host the UB Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The invite will showcase talent from 14 colleges as the University of Akron, Alfred University, Buffalo State, Canisius College, SUNY Cortland, Daemen College, SUNY Fredonia, Kent State University, Niagara University, SUNY Oswego, Sage College, St. Bonaventure University, Utica College and the University at Buffalo will participate at this year's invite. The invite is set to kickoff at 1 p.m.
There will be great competition in every event as many of the top athletes in the Mid-American Conference and the Northeast will be participating. The Bulls will look to defend their home turf for the second time this season as both the men's and women's teams won the UB Mid-Week Invitational back on March 24.
Last weekend at the Geneseo Roundtable Invitational, the Bulls had a very strong outing. Although it wasn't a scored meet, the Bulls had 35 top-three finishes in 40 total events. Their performances also led to setting new SUNY Geneseo facility records.
