Bulls To Close Out Season At Akron

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo volleyball team will take the court for one final time on Wednesday night as UB concludes the regular season at Akron. Game time is set for 7pm.
The Bulls are coming off a pair of defeats at Northern Illinois this past weekend, including a heartbreaking five-set loss on Friday night.
Four Bulls have at least 247 kills on the season, led by 380 from Milla Malik. Emma Gielas adds 267 kills and Courtney Okwara has 265 kills and a team-best .317 hitting percentage. Maria Futey adds 247 kills.
Freshman Mandy Leigh is eighth in school history in single-season assists with 1,136 and could climb into the top five with a strong performance tomorrow night. Leigh also leads the team with 27 aces.
Defensively, Futey has 303 digs, followed by 300 from Leigh. Jenna Sonnenberg has 156 digs, but leads the team at 3.18 per set.
Akron is 10-19 on the year and 4-12 in league play. This will also be the final contest for the Zips as they will not qualify for the MAC Tournament.
Wednesday night's game will be broadcasted on ESPN+.
