Bulls Compete at NCAA Northeast Regionals

BOSTON – The University at Buffalo cross country team competed at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships on Friday afternoon. The men's team finished their 10k race in 15th place out of 35 teams with 486 points. The women's team had four runners race individually, not qualifying for a team placement.
Leading the way for the Bulls was Ryan Buzby as he finished 63rd in a time of 32:06. Scott Loforte wasn't far behind as he claimed 78th-place in 32:23. William Marchant finished 108th in 32:55 as Michael Neeson cross the line for 115th-place in 33:09. Pushing each other to the finish line and finishing together in 33:29 was Oscar Vazquez (135th-place) and Alex Hislop (136th-place). Thomas Flannery finished in a time of 33:48, good for 149th place.
The women's team competed individually with only four runners. Anya Schmitt finished in 94th-place in 22:31. Alexia Hecico finished in a time of 23:01 for 134th-place. Junior Riley Jones finished in 144th-place with a time of 23:08. Meghana Caron crossed the line in 24:15 for 200th place.
