
Bulls Set To Host Cleveland State Friday Afternoon

BUFFALO, NY β The 5-1 University at Buffalo women's tennis team returns to Western New York on Friday as the Bulls will host Cleveland State at 1pm at Miller Tennis Center.
Buffalo is coming off a weekend split as it dropped its first match of the year at West Virginia before coming back with a victory at Youngstown State.Β
For their performances, Buffalo swept the MAC weekly awards as sophomore Pia Schwarz was named the singles player of the week for the conference, while junior Gabriella Akopyan and freshman Ambre Amat were named the MAC Doubles Team of the Week.
Cleveland State enters Friday's match with a 4-1 record, having opened the season with four straight victories, including wins over Western Michigan and Toledo.Β The Vikings dropped their first contest of the year this past Sunday to another MAC program, Bowling Green.
