
Quartet Reaches NCAA Zone Diving Championships Finals

Annapolis, MD - UB's divers competed in the first of three days at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships on Monday. After both finding success at the Mid-American Conference Championships the last two weeks, the Bulls had three male divers and one female diver advance to the NCAA Zone A finals on Monday.
In the men's three-meter dive Nick Rodriguez, Kristian Santos, and Derek Linebaugh all made the finals. Rodriguez led the way with 636.15 points after 12 dives to place 12th, while Santos finished 13th overall with 620.20 points. Linebaugh earned 589.15 points and a 16th-place finish.
Mackenzie Moss was the lone Bull to make the one-meter diving finals with a prelimnary round score of 238.90. In the finals Moss finished 16th with a combined score of 470.65.
The Bulls are back in action at the Naval Academy on Tuesday when the men's team competes in the one-meter dive and the women's team dives off the three-meter board.
