
Bulls Drop Weekend Finale

CONWAY, SC - The University at Buffalo softball team lost its final game of the Chanticleer Classic on Sunday morning, losing in five innings to Memphis, 9-0.
The Tigers score four in the first and three in the second, while adding two more in the third. UB was held to just two hits in the game. The first hit came from freshman Katie Weimer, who singled to lead off the game and the other came on a double by Savanna Norcio to lead off the fourth.
Weimer went 12-for-17 over the five games this weekend, driving in eight runs for the Bulls. She now leads the team with a .403 batting average.
The Bulls will stay in South Carolina as they have a doubleheader at the College of Charleston on Tuesday.
