
Bulls Fall At Ball State, 3-0

MUNCIE, IN – The University at Buffalo volleyball team began a stretch of eight of its next 10 on the road Saturday night, but suffered its first road defeat, 3-0, at Ball State. The loss drops UB's record to 14-3 on the season and 2-2 in the MAC.
The Cardinals (14-4, 3-1 MAC) won the contest 25-18, 25-19, 25-15 as they hit .346 for the match, the second highest total by a UB opponent all season. The Bulls held leads in the second set and briefly in the third, but could not hold on against a Ball State team, who won for the 12th time in its last 13 matches.
Senior Dana Musil and sophomore Tahleia Bishop each finished with seven kills, while fellow senior Christine Fritsche added five. Senior Dani Reinert had 16 assists and a pair of service aces, while junior Taylor Pritchett added 11 assists and an ace.
Senior Kelly Svoboda finished with 12 digs, while Musil and freshman Siena Wilder each had eight. The Bulls have just four blocks in the match, three coming on solo blocks from sophomore Akeila Lain.
The Bulls remain on the road next Friday as they head to Bowling Green for a 7:00 pm contest.
