
Speckman Sharp In Loss To Chippewas, 2-0

MT. PLEASANT, MI – University at Buffalo freshman starter Tori Speckman pitched a complete-game three hitter, but the Bulls were unable to get on the scoreboard as they fell to Central Michigan, 2-0.
In addition to allowing just the three hits, Speckman struck out four Central Michigan batters and walked just one.
The Chippewas got on the board first as they scratched home a run in the bottom of the third. Central Michigan also scored a run in the bottom of the sixth on a two-out double.
The Bulls managed just two hits, including senior Alexandra Bejarano's one-out double in the top of the seventh. The other hit came from junior Kristin Waldron back in the first inning.
The Bulls conclude the regular season tomorrow against the Chippewas. First pitch is set for 1:00 pm.
