- Captain and leading scorer of the 1960-61 Bulls basketball team that went 18-5, including wins over Villanova and Syracuse.
- At 6'2", an undersized center who averaged 14 points and 11 rebounds a game as a senior.
- Finished his career tops in all-time rebounding average and 10th in career scoring.
- His 31 points in Memorial Auditorium was an "Aud" school record that stood for 15 years.
- Named to the NCAA Mideast Regional all-tournament team in 1961.
