Christina Evenson is the Director of Athletics Financial Aid and Scholarships and began working in the Compliance Office in September 2016.

In her role at UB, Christina is responsible for assisting student-athletes with institutional, state and federal financial aid, billing questions, health insurance waivers, and athletics aid. This includes ensuring that student-athlete awards are in compliance with Institutional, State, Federal and NCAA rules. Christina monitors student-athlete employment and outside scholarships, as well as assisting international students with taxation of scholarships and applying for a social security card. Christina is also the Athletic liaison with UB Student Accounts, Financial Aid, Student Health Insurance, and UB Cards/Dining staff. She also oversees the National Letter of Intent (NLI) signing process.

Christina graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. She has a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Kansas.

Prior to joining the University at Buffalo, Christina spent 8 years in the Financial Aid Office at American University in Washington, DC. She’s originally from Galesville, WI and resides in Amherst, NY.
