2011: Played in 52 sets in her firstseason, finishing with 73 kills and 66 digs....had 10 kills andjust one error on 20 swings against Ball State (10/29) and finishedwith nine kills and seven digs against St. John’s(9/10)...recorded a career-high nine digs against Colgate(8/26)...finished with four service aces, including two against St.John’s (9/10)...had 3.0 total blocks in a five-set win overAkron (10/27).
High School: Earned fourletters and captained one season for head coach Lindsay Reinking atWestern High School...helped lead her team to a 25-3 record duringher senior season where she led the team in kills, blocks, digs andaces...she was named first-team All-Conference in 2009 and 2010 aswell as academic All-Conference as a senior...she has been atwo-time MVP and was also named Western High School’s topfemale athlete...also was a member of her high school’sbasketball and track and field team....played club volleyball forthe Asics Munciana Skyhawks.
Personal: Born April 25,1993...daughter of Steve and Shannon...full name is Sable BrianneStaller...has one brother (Seth)...lists her favorite athletes asPeyton Manning and Shawn White...was also recruited by EastTennessee, IPFW and Loyola, but chose UB because she loved thecampus and wants to play for Coach Kress...lists her dream as acollege athlete is to become an All-American and take UB to thenext level in volleyball...chose her uniform numbers because #5 isone of her lucky numbers.
