2022-23: Was 18-12 in singles action, including a 9-5 record at third singles… made an appearance at the ITA Super Regionals… went 9-5 in doubles action with partner Gabriella Akopyan, primarily at the third position.
2021-22: Akbas has an 8-3 singles record for the Panthers, including a 6-1 mark at sixth singles. She was undefeated with her latest doubles partner Yasmine Kabbaj until the final match of the season, going 6-1 at third doubles.
2019-20: Despite season being cut short due to COVID-19 pandemic, she sported an 11-6 overall record in singles to tie for the team-lead in wins... Her 7-1 mark in dual singles matches was a team-best... Earned a 7-1 mark in the No. 4 position in singles action and finished the year on a six-match win streak... Owned a spotless 3-0 mark in C-USA singles play... Clinched wins over UMKC (Jan. 25), Seton Hall (March 5) and Boston (March 9)... Named to All-Conference USA Doubles Second Team with partner Kamila Umarova after an 8-5 record, while going 6-2 in dual matches at the No. 1 position... Finished the year undefeated in C-USA doubles play at 3-0, while ending the year on a four-match win streak... Named team's MVP by head coach Katarina Petrovic following the season... Earned a team-best mark in singles wins, after going 17-3 overall and 11-2 in dual matches... She earned a team-best mark of 9-1 at the No. 3 position in singles play, while ending the year with a 6-1 mark in her last 10 matches... Named C-USA Athlete of the Week on March 6... In fall singles action, she won the No. 2 singles flight at the Bedford Cup in October.

In 2017 she was ranked 1185 in singles and 1293 in doubles according to the WTA/ITF.
