Before College: Comes to Buffalo with stellar results at both the national and international level. In singles action, she reached the quarterfinals of the J100 Burlington tournament and was a semifinalist at the J30 Barbardos tournament, where she also advanced to the finals of the doubles draw. A top player in Canada, Ganescu is coming off a doubles semifinal appearance at the U18 Canadian Nationals. She earned a bronze medal at the U18 Ontario Provincials, was a finalist at the J30 Winnipeg championship, and advanced to the semifinal round in doubles at the J100 Quebec City event.
