High School: Alber comes to Buffalo after a standout career at Northview Academy in which she was a 1,000-point scorer and set single-season program records for field boal percentage (.615), total rebounds (258), rebounds per game (8.06), blocks (109) and blocks per contest (3.41). She helped to lead the Cougars to a Class 3A state tournament runner up finish for the first time in program history as a junior, averaging nearly two blocks per game in three games at the state tournament, twice posting double-digit rebounding marks, and made the All-Tournament team. Additionally, she was a major contributor on the Kentucky Premier EYBL team.
