High School: Day comes to UB after rewriting the record books at North Tonawanda High School, graduating as the program’s all-time leader in points, assists, rebounds, blocks and steals. Her 2,023 career points are the most all time for men or women in school history. She was named the 2026 Western New York Athletics Player of the Year and repeated as the Niagara Gazette Player of the Year after leading the Lumberjacks to a Class AA State Championship. As a junior, she led NT to a Niagara Frontier League championship and was named the 2025 NFL Player of the Year and NFL First Team selection while also earning First-Team All-Western New York honors. Prior to her time with North Tonawanda, Day spent two seasons at Cardinal O'Hara where she helped lead the Hawks to back-to-back postseason trips to the final four of the Catholic state tournament and a pair of Monsignor Martin titles. Off the court, Day is a member of the High Honor Roll and was the recipient of the Presidential Award.
