2009-10: One of two players to start every contest of the season…contributed an average of 10.2 points per game…grabbed a second-best 5.2 boards per game, including 105 on the defensive glass…was the Bulls’ top-distributor with a 2.7 assist per game average, including a season-high of nine at Northern Illinois (1/23)…second on the team with 36 steals…among the most consistent at the free-throw line with a 73.9 clip…led the team in scoring on three occasions (at Hofstra, 11/16; at Delaware, 12/22; at Western Michigan, 1/30)…matched career-high in steals at Hofstra (11/16) with four…contributed a career-high 25 points at Delaware (12/22), going 8-for-15 from the floor…named MAC East Player of the Week following career performance against the Blue Hens…finished the Akron (2/13) game with a season-best three blocks, adding eight points and four rebounds…narrowly missed the double-figure rebound mark with nine twice against Eastern Michigan, including in the First Round MAC contest (3/6)…also did so on Feb. 3 and at Miami (OH) on Feb. 20.
2008-09: Played in all 32 games, while starting 31...second on the team in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots...was named to the Academic All-MAC team...recorded a season-high 20 points in UB’s MAC Tournament win over Kent State as she went 11-of-13 from the free throw line (3/13)...had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds in the MAC semifinal against Ball State (3/15)...had 19 points with eight rebounds against Ohio (1/7)...recorded a career-high 14 rebounds in UB’s season opener at Canisius (11/14)...had 18 points and eight rebounds against St. Bonaventure (11/16)...scored in double figures in five straight games, including 17 against North Carolina Central (11/29) and 16 points against Providence (12/16)...recorded a double-double against Hofstra (12/6) with 10 points and 10 rebounds...scored 16 points in back-to-back games against Kent State (1/14) and Miami (OH) (1/17)...had 17 points and eight rebounds against Central Michigan (1/24) and 14 points and nine rebounds in a victory over Western Michigan (1/31).
2007-08: Appeared in 29 games this season, making 22 starts...averaged 7.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and a team-high 1.03 blocks per game...led the team in scoring three times and rebounding four times...finished the regular season ranked 14th in the MAC in field goal percentage (46.0%) and tied for fifth in blocked shots (1.0 per game)...made her first career three-pointer and had a career-high four steals at Holy Cross (11/27)...made her first collegiate start in a 61-42 victory at Niagara (12/1)...scored 19 points, including 3-of-3 from three-point range, and had seven rebounds in a 70-69 overtime win at Albany (12/5)...named UB female athlete of the week (12/10)...scored 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a 63-60 win over Cleveland State (12/15)...had a career-high 21 points, becoming the first UB freshman to score 20+ points since February 23, 2005, in a 78-65 win over Bucknell (1/2)...named UB female athlete of the week (1/7)...registered her first career double-double (12 points, 10 rebounds) and had five blocks in a 62-57 win at Miami (OH) (1/9)...scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds in a victory at Ball State (2/3)...had a team-high 19 points and nine rebounds against Central Michigan (2/16)...scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a 68-54 win over Akron (2/27)...had six points, four rebounds and two blocks in the MAC Tournament game against Toledo (3/10).
High School: Earned four letters and was a three-year captain for head coach Merle Kidwell at Russell High School...helped her team to a 27-6 record as a senior as she averaged 20.8 points per game and 9.5 rebounds per contest...was named second-team All-State in 2007 and was named the 2007 Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches 16th Region Player of the Year as well as Eastern Kentucky Conference Player of the Year...helped lead her team to the Eastern Kentucky Conference Championship in 2007 and district championships in 2004, 2005 and 2006...also lettered for two seasons on the track team and one season on the volleyball team.
Personal: Born April 11, 1989...daughter of Bob and Nancy...has one sister (Ashley)...was also recruited by Vermont, Dartmouth, Illinois-Chicago and Morehead State, but chose UB because of the players, coaching staff and academics...lists her greatest athletic experience as playing AAU nationals at Disney World and placing third...would like to break the UB school record for best field goal percentage...three words to describe her are happy, responsible and unique...majoring in exercise science with the hopes of becomes a physician’s assistant.
