Junior (2015-16): 3rd at Bucknell Invitational in 800 Free Relay with a time of 6:44.80… Placed 3rd against Miami in 100 Free… 4th in 200 Medley Relay at Ohio, clocking in at 1:30.09… 2nd in 400 Free Relay at MAC Championships… Swam 800 Free Relay in 6:33.89, 4th place finish, at MAC Championships.
Sophomore (2014-15): In free style events Leigh swam a season-best time of 21.39 in the 50 meter freestyle, 45.87 in the 100 meter freestyle, 1:38.76 in the 200 meter freestyle, and 23.49 in the 50 butterfly at the Ohio State Invitational. Against McMaster he achieved a season-best time of 52.79 in the 100 butterfly.
2013-14: Was a member of the Virginia Tech swimming and diving team.
High School: Attended Deutsch-Franzosisches Gymnasium in Germany. Competed in the German National Championship Final.
Personal: Son of Alexander and Teresa. Has two brothers, Simon and Jean-Luc. Chose UB because he loved the campus and the energy the swim team emitted. Favorite athletes are Ian Thorpe and Steph Curry.
