2011: Made 33 appearances in the circle, starting 21 of those contests...finished the year with a 7-15 record...pitched a four-hit shutout against Winthrop (2/19), giving the Bulls their first win of the year...also had a four-hit shutout with eight strikeouts in a victory over Liberty (3/19)...capped off the season with a one-hitter, pitching 6.2 innings of relief in a win over Central Michigan (5/8).
Previous School: Pitched for Big East member Rutgers, accumulating a 7-7 record with a 3.59 earned run average... struck out 54 batters and had nine complete games with one shutout... held opponents to a paltry .227 batting average over her 93.2 innings pitched... was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll after nearly pitching her first career no-hitter against Stony Brook and fanning 14 batters in 14.0 innings over two games... was named the BIG EAST pitcher of the week after yielding just seven hits over 18.2 innings, striking out 10 batters while giving up just one earned run, appearing in four games, winning two and notching one save (3/8).
High School: Attended Amherst Central in New York and Culver Academies in Indiana in her high school years... earned five letters and was a captain... set the New York state record for most strikeouts in a game... set the Indiana state record for most runs batted in for a single game, with 11... named to the Indiana All-Star team... also was a member of the bowling and volleyball teams, earning six letters.
Personal: Born May 10, 1990… parents are Curtis and Yvonne… nickname is HoJo… owns the record for most Ks in a game in NY and most RBIs in a game in NY, with 11… tossed three no-hitters for her Pony league team, a league record… chose UB over Rutgers, Purdue and Quinnipiac, among others.
