2010: Was one of the team’s most reliable hitters, batting .306 in her 37 games… split time between second base and the outfield… was a speed demon on the base paths, stealing 26 bases… recorded 10 multi-hit games… knocked in two runs on two hits along with a walk and two stolen bases against Northern Illinois, totaling four steals in the two-game series (4/4)… went 2-3 at the plate with two runs scored, a sacrifice and two stolen bases against Niagara (4/21)… tallied two more hits and two more runs scored in the first of three games against Eastern Michigan (5/1)… had one of her best games of the year against Bowling Green, with three hits and three runs scored along with two steals (5/7)… finished the season strong, going 6 for 16 with five runs scored and five stolen bases in the final four games of the season.
High School: A four-year letter winner and three-year captain at Clear Creek High School...set the record for the most stolen bases in high school and had a .340 batting average in her senior season...also played for the Texas Storm DeMarini Gold under coach Larry Durham.
Personal: Born May 29, 1991...parents are Will and Robin Bertot..has one sister, Kaitlyn...favorite food is seafood...favorite kind of music is country...lists her dad as her greatest athletic influence and her mom as the most impressive person she’s ever met...plans to major in accounting.
