Hoof Prints: Imposing defensive end with a high motor who made an immediate impact as a true freshman... One of the reasons he chose UB was the closeness of the team... Enjoys fishing... major is social science interdisciplinary.
Junior (2015): Started 11 games at defensive end… ranked eighth on the team with 34 tackles… had 4.5 tackles for loss and two sacks… had four tackles at Penn State 9/12)… recovered a fumble for an 11-yard touchdown at Florida Atlantic (9/19)… had four tackles and a sack against Bowling Green (10/3)… had five tackles, a sack and a forced fumble at Central Michigan (10/17)… had four tackles against Ohio 10/24)… had five tackles at Kent State (11/5).
Sophomore (2014): Continued to develop into one of the top defensive linemen on the team… appeared in 10 games and started six… finished the season with 19 tackles and three sacks… had a sack, forced fumble and three pass breakups in the opener against Duquesne (8/30)… had a season-best four tackles against Army (9/6) and Bowling Green (10/4)… Added a sack and forced fumble at BG… had three tackles and a sack at Massachusetts (11/28).
Freshman (2013): Appeared in the final eight games for the Bulls, becoming one of the only true freshmen to see regular action… He finished with seven tackles (four solo) on the season… He recorded a career-high two tackles and one tackle for a loss against UMass (10/19)… Had a sack and forced fumble against San Diego State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl... Also ranked fifth on the team with three quarterback hurries.
High School: A rush linebacker out of Madison County High School in Madison, FL. His high school made it to the Florida state championship game and was ranked 12th in the football-rich state. After making the All-State Second Team as a junior, he exploded for 91 tackles (15 for loss) and 13 sacks in his senior season to make the All-State First Team. He was also named to MaxPreps’ 2012 Small Schools All-American Second Team. To cap off his high school career, he earned MVP of the prestigious Florida vs. Georgia All-Star Game.
