Junior (2021 - 2022): Ran an indoor best mile time of 5:31.33 at the Akron Collegiate Campbell Indoor Invitational...had two season best times at the Geneseo Early Season Invitational in the 800 meter (2:35.34) and the 1,500 meter (5:06.30).
Sophomore (2020 - 21): Competed in six track and field meets for the Bulls....ran two outdoor personal best times at the UB Invitational in the 1,500 meter (4:54.57) and the 3,000 meter (10:43.70)...had an indoor personal best 3,000 meter run time of 10:43.14 at Akron Invitational.
Freshman (2019 - 2020): Competed at MAC Championships on the Bulls' distance medley relay team, finishing with a team relay time of 12:20.40.
High School: Finished fourth place individual (2017), and sixth place individual (2018) at the World Mountain Running Championships...led the Romanian U20 teams to a first place team finish in 2017 and third place team finish in 2018.
Personal: Parents Ana Hecico, Emil Hecico...chose UB because of its great academic and athletic programs...inspired by her parents...favorite athlete is Sydney McLaughlin...favorite TV show is Gilmore Girls...enjoys traveling and has visited 20 count
