Mainguy/Mitsakos Named MAC Doubles Team of the Week

BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo men's tennis duo of Clement Mainguy and Theodoros Mitsakos have been named the Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.
It is the third weekly honor for the pairing and the fourth overall for the Bulls this season.
Mitsakos and Mainguy had a stellar weekend as they went 2-0 in their matches to lead UB to a pair of wins. On Friday, the pair rallied from 3-1 down for a thrilling tiebreak victory at first doubles to clinch a crucial doubles point en route to a dominant 6-1 win over Western Michigan to open MAC play. They followed that up with a decisive 6-1 win, also at first doubles, against Ball State to help lead the Bulls to a 5-2 win over the Cardinals on Sunday. With the wins, the duo is now 6-2 in dual action this season.
The Bulls return to action on Saturday, March 14 when they host Toledo at Miller Tennis Center at 1pm.
