Bulls Cap Weekend With 6-1 Win Over St. Bonaventure

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team defeated St. Bonaventure 6-1 on Sunday afternoon at Miller Tennis Center.
The Bonnies took a 1-0 lead in the match as they took the doubles point with wins at first and second doubles. Clement Mainguy and Yu-Shiang Huang won their match 6-1 at the third position.
Buffalo then took over in singles action, sweeping all six matches in straight sets. Cheng Tang won 6-4, 6-2 at first singles, Daniils Snaiders battled to a 6-4, 7-5 win at second singles and Mainguy won 6-1, 6-3 at the third position. Sophomore Michael Malkin cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 victory at fourth singles and Faiz Nasyam and Huang rolled to victories at the fifth and sixth position by scores of 6-1, 6-0 and 6-0, 6-1, respectively.
Up next, Buffalo will return to action on Wednesday, February 19 as they host Mercyhurst at Miller Tennis Center at 10am.
