BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo women's volleyball Head Coach Scott Smith announced their incoming class on Wednesday. The Bulls signed two incoming freshmen to their class.
Angelina Siepierski // OH // Williamsville South // Williamsville, N.Y.
Angelina Siepierski, a local product from Williamsville South, tallied 1,670 kills, 1,091 digs, 239 aces and 128 blocks in her career for the Billies. Siepierski holds the school record for most kills in a season and career. As a freshman, she earned First-Team ECIC II honors. Over the last three years, she earned First-Team All-ECIC distinction. She's a three-time First-Team All-WNY honoree, as she also earned First-Team All-State NYSPHSAA Class A and 2023 NYSPHSAA All-State Tournament Team honors. The Williamsville native was also on the JVA Watchlist in 2023, 2024 and 2025. Recently she earned 2025 AVCA Region Player of the Year. She helped Williamsville South to the 2023 State Finals and was a three-time Section VI Champion.
"Angelina has been on our radar for a long time," exclaimed Head Coach Scott Smith. "As a local player in the Buffalo area we are extremely happy to welcome her into the program. She is a very fluid athlete with great ball control which has come to her very naturally. She has good size for an outside hitter and has spent many years being the go-to hitter on her club and high school teams. She is no stranger to success and is hungry to keep improving her game. She has recently been named to the 2025 AVCA Regional Player of the Year list."
Abisola Adebayo // Middle Blocker // Westside // Houston, Texas
Abisola Adebayo joins the UB volleyball program from Houston, Texas. In 2022, she earned Second-Team All-District honors at Westside High School. In her sophomore (2023) and junior (2024) seasons, she elevated her game as she went on to take home First-Team All-District honors. In her senior season, the 6'2" middle was honored with the District Player of the Year and Skyline Breakout Player of the Year distinction.
"Abisola stood out to us because of her character and coachability," added Smith. "Not only that, but Abi is a tremendous athlete who is rapidly growing into her potential. While starting volleyball later than many of her peers she is aggressive at the net both blocking and attacking and has a great work ethic. She is the type of player that makes those around her better and she will add depth and raise the level of competition with our middles group!"
