MAC Announces Pre-Seeds For the 2024 MAC Wrestling Championship

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced today the pre-seeding for the upcoming 2024 MAC Wrestling Championship (March 8-9), hosted by Kent State University at Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center in Kent, Ohio.
Listed below is the pre-seeding for the MAC Wrestling Championship following today's conference call with all 13 MAC head wrestling coaches. The MAC will release the final 2024 MAC Wrestling Championship brackets on Thursday evening.
The Bulls have eight wrestlers seeded, led by Sam Mitchell who is the top seed at 197. Tommy Maddox and Chase Kranitz are seeded fourth at 133 and 184, respectively. Kaleb Burgess (149), Hunter Shaut (165) and Jay Nivison (174) are all seeded sixth. Max Elton (125) and Caleb Brooks (141) are both seeded eighth.
