Bulls and Huskies Clash for Lone Tuesday Evening MAC Game

DEKALB, Ill. – The University at Buffalo men's basketball team (3-20, 1-9 MAC) are back to #MACtion and will play the Northern Illinois Huskies (8-15, 2-8 MAC) on Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. ET. The matchup between the Bulls and Huskies can be seen on ESPN+. Over on the Varsity Network App and on 1520 Buffalo/1280 Rochester AM, Josh Whetzel will be on the call.
LAST TIME OUT
The Bulls are coming off an 82-81 overtime road victory over the Georgia Southern Eagles on Saturday afternoon. Sy Chatman surged the Bulls to victory with a 23-point and 12-rebound double-double, his fifth double-double on the season. Isaiah Adams led the team with 24 points and seven assists. This was Adams' sixth game on the season where he finished with five or more assists. Zaakir Williamson was the only other Bull to finish in double figures scoring, finishing with 10 points.
ABOUT THE SERIES
The Bulls lead all-time series against the Northern Illinois Huskies, 25-16. Buffalo has won the last five meetings including a season sweep a year ago. The last time in DeKalb, the Bulls clinched a spot in the MAC Tournament with an 85-75 win on Feb. 28, 2023. Overall, Buffalo is 22-9 in MAC play against the Huskies.

• Tuesday's game against the Huskies will mark Isaiah Adams' 100th career collegiate game.
• Sy Chatman has scored 20+ in 10 of the last 16 games. Over the course of those games, he's averaged 19.31 points per game including four double-doubles.

• Buffalo's 4.6 blocks per game is second in the MAC and 50th in the nation.
