Bulls Compete at Dartmouth Invitational

HANOVER, NH – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team continued fall action this weekend at the Dartmouth Invitational, facing competitors from Dartmouth, Boston College and Fairfield.
On Friday, Daniils Snaiders picked up the first win for the Bulls with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Fairfield.
The Bulls then gained some momentum on day two, as they swept doubles action with Michael Malkin and Snaiders picking up a pair of wins over Dartmouth and Yu-Shiang Huang and Faiz Nasyam earning wins over Boston College and Fairfield, both by a score of 7-6.
In singles action, Nasyam defeated Fairfield 7-6, 6-3, Malkin picked up a 6-0, 6-4 win over Fairfield and Snaiders battled back from a dropped second set to earn a thrilling three-set victory, 6-2, 3-6, 16-14, over Dartmouth.
On Sunday, the Bulls competed in two doubles matches, with Malkin and Snaiders defeating Fairfield 7-5. In singles play, the Bulls picked up a pair of wins over Fairfield as Huang earned a hard-fought three set victory, 2-6, 6-1, 10-5 and Nasyam won 6-4, 6-3.
Up next, Buffalo returns to action October 17-21 at the ITA New England Regionals, hosted by Harvard.
