Bulls Show Promise At Miami

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team battled throughout but eventually came up short in a 4-0 loss at Miami on Friday afternoon.
The Hurricanes took the doubles point with wins at first and second doubles and then followed with a trio of singles victories to clinch the match.
The Bulls, however, showed great fight and poise in several singles matches as Yu-Shiang Huang and Theodoros Mitsakos each won their first sets at sixth and third singles, respectively, and Daniils Snaiders was up a break late in his match before play was halted once the hosts clinched the match.
"I am proud of the guys today," said head coach Lee Nickell. "We competed hard and had some opportunities against a very good Miami squad. We need to take some of the positives from this match and bring it tomorrow against a good Mercer team."
Buffalo is back in action tomorrow morning as they take on Mercer at 11am.
