
Bulls Defeat Binghamton 4-3 on Senior Day

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team defeated Binghamton 4-3 on Senior Day at Miller Tennis on Saturday afternoon. With the win the Bulls improve to 9-6 overall and 5-3 in league play.
The Bulls got off to a great start as Simon Wibler and Finn Macnamara cruised to a 6-0 win at first doubles and reining MAC doubles team of the week Aleksandr Kalinin and Daniils Snaiders followed with a 6-3 victory at second doubles to help UB clinch the doubles point.
UB took that momentum into singles play. Kalinin won 6-3, 6-3 at first singles and Wibler followed with a 6-3, 6-2 win at second singles to put UB up 3-0. The Bearcats got on the board with a win at fourth singles, but Snaiders clinched the match with a 6-1, 6-3 victory at sixth singles.
The Bulls will hit the road for a pair of matches to close out regular season play, beginning on Friday, April 14 at Toledo.
